Get the book "Deer Proofing your yard & garden" by Rhonda Massingham Hart
from your local library. She writes as though she has had lots of experience
with deer. Many lists are given: plants deer like, plants they may avoid. All
sorts of suggestions for repellents. But she does say that a strong fence is
the only absolutely sure thing. Many repellents work in certain areas and for
limited lengths of time. So much depends on the size of the herd and the
availability of food.
