The only books I ever see like that, and our bookshops seem to be full
of them, seem to do everything at a rating between mediocre and ugh!.
I suggest, if you can find them in your outlets, the 'expert' series by
Dr. D.G.Hessayon, most everything is good and you don't have to buy any
parts you really don't want.
e.g.   ISBN 0-903505-20-7 for veggies. Should be around $5 each part.
