Hi. I'm the one who wrote about the chewing tobacco tea. I'm just
wondering,
if this chewing tobacco tea is so deadly, then why did this PBS program with
this gardening guy who seemed to know what he was talking about, make
several
concoctions with this ingredient included? Do you think maybe it's because
it's chewing tobacco tea and not tobacco from cigarettes or something?

I do not know much. Here's my 2 cents.
Tobacco is a bug killer. probably easier on the environment then most.
Chewing tobacco and cigarette tobacco are cured differently and cigarettes
have a lot of additives. Some plants are more susceptible to tobacco then
others.
