You should not be concerned about the tops of your onions leaves turning
yellow.
That is a normal maturation process. After turning yellow, they will start to
turn
brown. You speed up the maturation process by using a fork to slightly lifting
them out of the ground, and after one to two weeks, you can braid the tops of
the leaves.
