Tim Peters of Peters Seed & Research (Oregon) has a very nice golden

Peters was the Research Director at Territorial for many years and has
25+ years plant breeding under his belt. His breeding program is the
best I know of in the USA and he is the only breeder I know of focused
on developing open pollinated vegetable and grain varieties, including
things like OP Sugary Enhanced corn (3 feet tall, to boot), an
incredible number of GOOD tasting short-season tomatoes, etc., etc. His
prices are ridiculously low and he deserves to be more widely known. I
have bought a great deal of seed from him and it has been of excellent
quality.
Obviously, I am a big fan of this company! No business interest it; just
want to see more people discover a significant resource for both market
and home gardeners.
