I am new to the list although I'm not new to gardening. When we lived in
Minnesota (zone 4), I knew that I could not plant before Memorial Day and
would need crops that matured on Labor Day or before. Now that we live in
California, about 150 miles north of Los Angeles, I've gotten the gardening
bug again. We live on the western edge of the Mojave Desert and so have a
bunch of new challenges. The first thing I would like to know is, that
hardiness zone do I live in? I know there is a web site that will give me
the zone if you only punch in your zip code. Does anyone know where that
web site is located?
