Re: Double Family Tragedy- Prayers Requested

I live in Southern Mississippi, about 30 miles, above the Gulf of Mexico.Again sorry for your loss, and I know what its like,in hard times.About 5 years ago,I had a bad heat stroke, and it left me,disabled, but sometimes,I can go out and tinker around, and do a small garden.I have onions(multipling/red,large),turnips,collards,cabbage,brussels sprouts, broccoli, radishes, rutabagas,Fla.broadleaf mustard, growing now,and getting ready for spring garden.Yesterday,I cooked some brussels sprouts, and took about 1/2 lbs.of bacon, and soft fried it,then removed it,and in the grease, stir fried, mustard, broccoli brussels sprout, and rutabagas(tender leaves),then added the bacon back.I have been getting ready for spring planting, with cow manure, and old hay,in the rest 1/2 of garden, and as the others go,will add to the other half.Temperature is about 70 degrees today, but Sunday morning is to be about 35,so no planting yet.Got to run, sick folks, will write more later.JIM W

Dear James,I am sorry for your losses. I know what it feels like. Thank you for your message- it is nice to know someone understands. We cremated our Grandma today and we rest knowing that she is reunited with her husband and 2 sons who went before her.May I ask where you live James? By the way, my father-in-law 's youngest brother is also James (from Australia) and a gem of a guy.

He didn't promise there wouldn't be valleys,or bad times, but He promised to go through with us.Well, you and your family are in our prayers.Jim W

My dad-in-law passed away on Jan 28th, his eldest son's  (my hubby)birthday. He was ill with colon cancer and the last days were tough for everyone. All his brothers and sisters- 4 of them) and their families came to be with him (from Australia and Malaysia) in his last few days or came for his funeral. His sis Celine who was looking after their 90 year old mum broke the news to her the morning she left. My grandmother-in-law seemed to know even before they told her as she started crying and took ill even before they broke the news to her- in fact on the very night he had lapsed into unconsciousness , hours after he asked for her repeatedly. While Celine was in the train on her way here and other family members were flying in from Australia, Grandma passed away. we lost her 22 hours after her son. This morning we had my dad-in-law's funeral and the tomorrow it's my grandmother-in-law's funeral. She is in Malaysia- 3 hours away. Please pray for us. The whole family is griefstricken.
