I always add a little lime to my fertilizer when I plant brassicas,
because they like the extra calcium and they benefit from the boost in
PH.  A little lime should offset the acidification of the coffe grounds
if the soil is near neutral to begin with.  I would not recommend coffee
grounds or other acidifying agent if the soil was already acidic.
