What do you do about birds ?

Hi everyone ! Happy New Year!
Well it certainly seemed to work sending that second intro ! It's great to
see all of the regulars and lurkers come out and say G'day ! Great to hear
from you all. Thank you for welcoming me so warmly !
Well here in South Australia it's been another day of 35 degrees ( approx.
100) Thank goodness for mulch ! We are the driest state in the driest
continent so we have to use water carefully ( as we all do ).
As I said before the fruit is ripening....any new ideas to stop the birds ?
Frank
