The average frost dates for Marysville, Ca. (near Live Oak where I live)
are: First frost date average-Nov. 13 Last frost date average: March 25.
Pretty close to your Santa Rosa averages I'd say. Remembering that it is
possible to have frost all the way to early May in some years and that this
is merely an average.

ps. The above are the frost dates I give at our local Ext. Office when
people call and ask. Questions like these are usually funneled to the
resident master gardener.
