No,no, I live in Northern California. An hour North of Sacramento in Live
Oak. Almost to Chico. And about the moon sequence, I am afraid I was being
a little bit facetious......but not too facetious, because one never knows
if the planting by the moon is actually beneficial or just old wives tales.
It was Orin, from Arizona, that suggested the timing for planting by the
moon and I was ready...so I did. Orin had written an article for a local
paper about the moon planting and mentioned it on the veggie list as a side
bar.
Orin is a U.C. Master Gardener as am I.
I'll let you know at harvest time if my potatoes do better when planted by
the light of the moon. :-)
