I start my onions in a flat, with a dense pattern. It looks like a new
lawn when it sprouts. They don't leave the flat until I transplant to
the garden in April. I usually harvest about 200 onions this way,
owhich about 125 are good yellow storage onions that keep until spring
in my pantry.
It's Sunday morning here and I still don't know if my bag, which spent
Friday night in London, has arrived in Seattle yet.
