Michelle,
The only vine plants I grow are pole beans, and for that I use a teepee
made of 3 poles. I merely tight the poles together at the top, then poke
the ends in the ground and plant the beans around the base of each pole.
This will not work for peas of course because they will not grow up a pole
like beans will.
