Hello Kris,
You need to have someone hold the corn up and then you need to hill up
soil around your corn.
This is a common problem with corn and even has a name. It is called
Lodging.
I plant my corn at 10" spacing in a solid bed 4 feet wide by 12 feet
long. That way it supports itself. A few will fall out the sides but for
the most part all the corn seems to do better this way than in
conventional rows spaced 12" apart with 24 inch pathways. Smitty
