Surely a thorough websearch would give you heaps. A surprising amount of
everyday salads are produced this way, it's just that 'chemical' has
become a dirty word in food these days, there's nothing against it in
principle, just that it is only as good as the system producing it and
the goals they set themselves. There are large populations in some
places totally dependent on it for really fresh fruit and veg.
