Hi Gang:
Been a while since I've written. Hope all of the gardens are surviving -
weather has been wild lately!
I've got a problem that I hope someone can help me with. I planted
broccoli at the end of May. Most of the plants (6) are growing tall and
the leaves are thick and healthy. One of the plants is beginning to look a
little "ill". At first I thought it was because of the sun and I hadn't
watered before going to work. But now its a lot smaller than the other 5.
It looks as though it may have a cold??? Anyone know what can be wrong? I
checked the leaves - looking for insects or anything unfamiliar, but did
not notice anything. Did I plant too early?
The rest of my garden seems to be doing fine. The collards are going along
well. My yellow tomatoes are doing a great job - but I'm not sure how to
tell when they ready? Any hints?
