Cukes: To trellis or not

Regarding your cukes, its a matter of space. Trellising them saves space and
keeps the fruit from getting flat sides or just dirty. But they will produce
the same whether trellised or not. I let my cukes ramble on the ground last
year and just trained them away from smothering other plants. This year I'm
trellising and am having just as much luck with production. Fruit will be
easier to get to as well.

Happy gardening!
