Hi, I don't know why my last message went private to Steve but here goes again, I think Steve had the right idea about pollination being a problem. Sometimes the male and female blossoms aren't open at the same time which is why it is good to have more than one plant. You can assist nature by taking the innards from a male blossom (the ones without the bulge at the base.. the ovary) and rubbing the innards of the female blossom with it. This should transfer pollen even if the male blossom had already closed up. Hope this helps Dale Neil Zone 5 Illinois
