Two years ago we has a nice crop of the small Norland Red potatos. There was minor leaf damage but we got a crop. Last year we got no potato yield at all (different part of the large field) because the leaves were completely eaten by potato bugs. I can't remember what they looked like. This year I have 4 - 50 foot rows of potatos up and going despite the torrential rains of June in this area. Right now the laves are healthy and growing very well. My question is how do you prevent the attack of potato bugs? What has worked for you?
