well, nitrogen it helps in increasing the vegetative growth of the plant and
thereby increasing the flowering and the fruit yield and also accelerating
the process. it is to be best applied in split doses.once at the time of
planting and second prior to the flowering time.
however if applied excessively,it may cause scorhing in plants.
