This year I started seeds for heirloom tomatoes and ended up with about
185 tomato plants. I only have space for about 60 plants. The rest of
the plants went to friends and anyone I could find that wanted them.
I cannot stand the thought of throwing healthy plants away.
I know heirloom tomatoes are not protected from diseases and I have had
a variety of problems. I planted 11 different types of tomatoes and
each variety seems to be prone to certain diseases. The Black Krim
(wonderful taste) has been the hardest one to keep going. The
Watermelon Beefsteak has been the most healthy and I can hardly believe
the size.
Anyone out there growing heirloom tomatoes. please let me know of any
problems you may have had with them.
Thanks
Cindy
