The first thing you may want to do is try to identify your ants.
Most of the time I've heard of people setting down either peanut
butter
or confectioners sugar mixed with borax in small dishes. The
ants feed it
to the queen and control the colony. Sugar for sweet eating ants,
pnut
butter for grease ants.
Combat Granules or MacForce or is it Max force are various
packaged products that should do the trick.
Baited diatomaceous earth with pyrethrin I think the specific
product
is called contact.
