Honey Delight is delicious!--it's a Kabacha type and very sweet. Johnny's
Seed catalog has it (They're on the Web at
<http://www.johnnyseeds.com/>--great seed co. I use alot) I had a friend
who grew it with great success up in Alaska, it's also a very good keeper
in a dry cool space. We stored some easily on to Thanksgiving after a
September harvest. But that's not really a So. Cal. issue.
don't have the space these days for winter squash, and my boyfriend hates
it. But everytime he's away that's what I eat for dinner <g>
Galia is a wonderful melon, but I haven't grown it myself.
Cheers,
havi ( also crazy 'bout cucurbits)
