Blueberries need acidic soil to properly "digest" nutrients. If your
soil is not very acidic you should dust the area around the plants with
agricultural sulfur, about 1/4 cup per plant. Some people use Aluminum
Sulfate, but it is much more agressive than the ag sulfur, and will harm
the earthworm which do the bulk of the work in delivering nutrients to
the bushes.
Mulch them with an organic mulch like sawdust or wood chips, which will
gradually break down and be fed to the plants by the earthworms.
Keep the soil fairly moist until the plants are well-established, by
watering deeply. Shallow watering means shallow roots, which are not
good.
