Hi all;, the following is something I found at the aquapore site. They sell
soaker hoses, etc. They are at: http://www.aquapore.com/index.html
<<Q: My Soaker Hose Isn't Working As Well as The Day I Installed It. Why?
A: Sometimes dirt, sediment or minerals can enter the system and a hose can
become clogged. Should this happen, perform a pressure purge. Remove any flow
or pressure control devices. Turn your faucet all the way on, then turn it off
for 1 minute. Repeat cycle 3 times. At the end of the third cycle remove End
Caps and flush out the system for about 3 minutes. Reinstall the Caps,
Pressure Regulator and the Flow Disc. Install a filter to help remove small
particles from the water supply. >>
