The copper flashing you mention sounds like a
great idea. Since they use so much of it on
roofs, it shouldn't cost too much once you cut
it down to inch and a quarter.
(of course if copper doesn't work on slugs anymore,
It's probably because Duncan has gotten them
immune to it) The other things
you mention sound like too much work without
the satisfying ZAP you can get with electricity. (If I'm gonna
do the work, I should a least get the twisted satisfaction)
Hey, I wonder if a bug zapper set on the
ground would attract
any garden pests? Oh, it might zap the good guys
too. Sorry.
