To any that would be interested, there is a book (probably one among
many) on companion planting called Carrots Love Tomatoes by Louise
Riotte and published by Garden Way Publishing. Copy may still be found
in local libraries. I have it very handy when deciding where to put
what in my vegetable garden each spring. This is in answer to Ross E.
Stanford's problem with onion and tomatoes planted near each other. I
hope this is of some help.
