Re: Slugs

In the mid-70s we lived in Wake Forest NC as we built a new pharmaceutical
plant and always kept some beer on hand for any St. Louis engineers who
might be visiting the project. We bought a wide variety of the best and
one called Red, White, and Blue that I think was $0.79 for a 6 pk. After
three years of keeping the RWB in the frig with no takers, we changed
companies and locations and decided to give the old RWB beer the "slug
test" since there seemed to be few humans that wanted it. It really worked
around the irises. I think that this proves that slugs don't necessarily
have a palate for beer.
