Antibiotics in cow/horse/pig/etc manure

I am a new list member so please forgive me if this is an old thread -
please point me in the direction of archives if you do not wish to revive
this thread.

What are the risks of uptake by fruit and veg in the garden of the use of
animal manures where there may be antibiotic use?  

Are plants actually capable of this uptake through the roots?
