Earlier several soil mixes for seedlings were discussed. What about soil
mixes for mature plants. I have a raised bed that will be planted with
rosemary, lavender, chives, and several different plants with edible
flowers. The plants will be young transplants and the bed is raised off the
ground so that it is in effect a large container.
I don't have access to loam, just proprietary mixes such as promix, etc.,
and other extras like grit, turface, shredded leaf mulch, perlite.
What about the use of fertilizers and ground limestone, how much would I add
per unit of mix?
Thanks.
