Pat,
The problem in the past is that I have a dog. She would drink the beer. My
veggie garden is being moved outside her area so she is not an issue anymore.
The other thing I think I am going to try is upside down grapefruit halves
(after you eat the good part). They are supposed to be drawn to them and then
you can just dispose of them as you wish. Thanks for reminding me about the
beer, I may try it again.
The product from Gardens Alive! is called Escar-Go! It is a blend of iron
phosphate with a bait. It is non-toxic to birds, wildlife and pets. (They are
an organic products in Indiana if you have not heard of them before.)
