Larry,
The companion book indicates chives, onions, parsley,
marigold, nasturium, carrot and garlic are good
choices. I always plant marigolds around, I am
especially fond of tagetes signata common name is gem
marigold. They are very delicate and have a citrus
scent. I also grow nasturiums in the vegetable garden
- very easy due to their huge seeds and there are many
varieties.
Garlic is also supposed to be a great choice but I
have never been successful growing it. Never have the
timing right....
