It will if after you transplant it you get it into adequate
light. Another thing that is critically important in seed
germination is moving air. First it helps prevent damping off.
Second, it helps the seedlings strengthen. Actually I believe
in seedling calisthenics. Lightly and gently brush across the
top of them in one direction then back the other way. I do have
fans blowing just above them, which just makes them vibrate the
tiniest bit.
What all of this activity does is force the seedlings to build
up stronger cells in the stems, which will give you a more
viable plant, one that will harden off more successfully and it
will help to prevent breakage.
