Re: Potato


This is a method used by some Europeans.  I know that's where I learnt about
it,the difference was they dug a trench put in straw and potatoe covered it
with straw and let them grow.  You may need aditional straw later in the
season as the potatoes grow up the stem and come to the top of the straw.
Otherwise those on top turn green (don't eat).  I found the potatoes lovely
uniform size, clean and easy to pick.
