Hello,

You only need one tree as they are self pollenating. I get about 3-4
bushels of peaches a year, but I really need to thin the small fruit
more (6" apart is correct).

I already gave my tree a heavy spray of sulfur and volck oil (dormant
spray). I hope to give it another dormant spray before the buds start
to swell.

As far as pruning goes it depends on how your tree was being trained
when you got it. Mine was being trained to an open center. In addition
any branch that points straight up or straght down gets pruned, along
with removing any branch that rubs another.

Other than that, and being careful about spraying when the tree is in
flower just follow the directions on your orchard spray.

Best of luck.

Tom
