We get a product (in UK) by Biotal for helping to rot down leaves, by
personal experience it does speed things up considerably. Don't put in
any sycamore, plane, horse chestnut leaves in because they take ages,
oak and beech are reckoned to be the best if you can get them. If you
can put the leaves through some sort of shredder that will help.
It's the tiger worms that are your best friend so build the heap on the
soil to let the worms into the heap.
