It sounds like your seedlings are not getting adequate light. I suspend a
three foot fluorescent light fixture w/ full spectrum bulbs above my
seedlings. It is a minimal investment and you can buy the light at your local
hardware store. Also are you using peat pellets for you hard-to-transplant
seedlings They work quite well as you plant the whole thing in the ground
w/out disturbing the roots.
