RE: Moles, Gopher.

i have a friend that every year does this,..

take the muffler of a lawn mower and put a straight pipe on it, then an elbow and another pipe
so as to reach the ground, then put the end of the pipe in a gopher hole and run the mower for a couple hours,

move the mower to another spot and repeat, seems to work.

John,
I live out in the country where gophers are everywhere. What I have found
through trial and error, is that gophers do not like marigolds, daffodils and
garlic. The roots of the marigolds emit a smell that the gophers do not like.
I do not know where you live, but here in California, I border all my raised
beds and my vegetable garden with marigolds, spaced about 6 inches apart. You
can also put in garlic in between all the marigolds. The gophers are
everywhere, but they will not go into the garden.
Maria
