I planted cantaloupe starter plants last week and I
came back today to see that most had been ravaged by some sinister beast.
Am I dealing with slugs or rabbits? My tomato plants are unharmed, one
cantaloupe plant was unharmed, the other two exhibited either dead foliage with
leaves removed (plant 1) or foliage sans leaves laying on the
ground.
For the one remaining plant, I spread diatomaceous
earth around it AND chicken wire.
Ideas please. Thanks in advance.
