Do you live up in Aberdeen or somewhere in the higher elevations of Kamloops
where the temps are cooler? That would be the only reason I can think of to
use tires in your area. I lived past Barnhartvale on the TransCanada, and I
didn't need any heat collecting devises. I suppose you could use them if
you wanted to plant before June 1 when you can still get some cold weather.
But be careful - the black tires combined with the 30+C temps you guys get
after that could scald your poor tomato plants. Or do you know that
already, and I'm just insulting your intelligence. :) If so, I'll quote
Emily Latilla (sp) from the old Saturday Night Live, "Never mind."
