I love container gardening! We live in a townhome in Calif. with a balcony and small garden space. I plant tomatoes (sweet 100's, early girl and patio) I also do garlic and basil. In the larger planters I have cucumbers and snow peas. Just be sure to give them food and water well during the hot summer months. I sometimes need to water everyday depending how hot it gets. But it is wonderful to be able to move your containers around and so much easier to control weeds and bugs.
