Hello,
Last Autumn I planted some giant cloves of garlic ( at least 2" long )
that I since understand are known as " Elephant garlic ". They grew
incredibly well through the winter and for the last few months have been the
size of nicely grown leeks. I mean biiiig !
Several of them are now throwing up flowers. I snapped one off a couple
of days ago presuming it the best thing to do for maximum bulb formation but
I would appreciate any advice on this action before I continue to do the
same to the rest. I bet every second delay in action counts.
Thanks in advance,
Paul Pickford
