Stan....I found this on a garden newsgroup and thought of your problem..the
deer one that is....Anyway,dont know if it would be of much good,but it
doesnt sound too bad.It might be worth a try .

Where it is getting cold,but still very beautiful with all the autumn

in I'll leave one out at the spot for three or four nights to see if they

nibbled. If it does then I spray the plant* and try another three or four
nights
to see if the spray works on a plant they like. So far, so good!
* the spray is simple: hot sauce and some citrus oil based dishwashing
liquid,
in water, put into a pressure sprayer."
