Hi Lori,
What kind of tomatoes do you grow?? I'm trying a couple of new ones (for
me). They are box car willie, aunt ginny's purple, san marzano (paste), and
classica (paste). Also, pruden's purple (yummy heirloom), early girl,
better boy and big beef. I've also got a cherry tomato (sweet million) in a
container at the foot of the deck. The idea is to be able to reach down
anytime for a snack-we'll see how it works! It's really dry down here in
southern md- where are you??
Beth (MD zone 7)

Hi Beth,
I'm from MD too, I have already put my plants in. My swiss chard and
spinach are coming up, I just planted them last week. I couldn't wait, I put
in my tomatoes, too. Everything is doing great. I put 2 litre bottles,
bottoms cut off, over my pepper plants. I also put marigold transplants
among
my tomatoes.
Good luck, Lori (MD)
