Re: tomato plant problem

Thanks for your post...these pests may be a problem that only affect certain parts of the country...I'm not really sure.....they blend into the plants really well and are very difficult to find at times..they are underneath the leaves on the stems...lots of times you will find the damage they have done and no sign of the worm.....when they are large enough they will eat all the leaves off your plants practically overnite...they seem to multiply and grow to almost 3 inches or so, and  are very destructive to tomato plants. I'm glad you don't have this problem where you are.
regards,
Johnny

Subject: tomato plant problem

Hi,      oct. 5th
I've been trying to find information lately on how to prevent hornworms from invading my garden and ruining my tomato plants......I haven't been able to find any helpful ideas except to remove them from the plants when I see them etc... Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can keep these pests from attacking my plants? Each day there seems to be more of them and they have become a real problem.
Appreciate any advice anyone may have..
Thanks again,
Johnny
