an additional way to use the flimsy but handy tomato cages is to put them
over most any plant you want your dogs not to step on. My dogs go racing
through the yard and do not care where they trample. So at least they try
to avoid the cages sticking up like they do. It is hard to have a garden
with two big dogs constantly after lizards, mice any moving object. And
when its hot they dig great holes under my apple and Japanese maple tree. I
love my dogs, but oh my.
