Thanks Janet. That's a good idea for bush (determinate) tomatoes in my
polytunnel.You can start them in heat, plant a crop, they come early,
all at once, fantastic crop, then you clear them. I grew Red Alert this
way but they sprawled everywhere. Trial booked for '99. I do have Stock
Fence offcuts.
