The post-Floyd mosquito spraying is not all legal, and applications could
cause massive damage to wild and domestic pollinators, because many of these
applications ignore the label directions.
In our efforts to stop the violations that kill our pollinators, we
have been monitoring. On Sunday afternoon, we caught Horry County mosquito
control red-handed, applying malathion in violation of the label. After
notification
of the violation, the applicator continued - a wilful violation.
