In this connection there is a new variety called Typhoon. I grew a
sample quantity this year flavour is good and in appearance and size
consistency it can't be faulted. Also promised are yield and resistance
to several diseases but what is unusual is cold tolerance, they suggest
sowing it in November!. Obviously one would have to keep a certain
amount of heat on, no plant is going to grow at all under about 8C./45F.
and also one would probably need to supplement the light at that time of
year but at least it could help in this situation.
