Hi Susan,
It's my understanding that 'Blue Mist' is a smaller cultivar, topping
off at about 2-3' in height. Fall color also tends to be much more
variable on it.
'Mt. Airy' is larger at 5-6' (getting close to F. major proportions)
with greener summer foliage (although it still has a bluish cast)
and more reliable fall color.
